2026 Regional Competition & Convention - Chorus Registration Information

3. REGISTER YOUR CHORUS FOR REGIONAL COMPETITION – a 2-part required process:
PART 1 – REGISTER AND PAY WITH SWEET ADELINES INTERNATIONAL FOR REGIONAL COMPETITION
WHO: Only the President/Team Coordinator, Director, or Finance Coordinator for chorus. Only one contact.
WHAT: Enter the Chorus for Competition with Sweet Adelines International. If a chorus has to withdraw, a written withdrawal notice must be received at International headquarters. This may be by email. A phone call is not sufficient.
WHERE: Competition Registration with Sweet Adelines International – Link to SAI required forms by Clicking Here (you will need to sign-in to your Sweet Adelines Member Account to access the forms.)
WHEN: Registration opens December 12, 2025. Registration deadline without penalty is January 26, 2026.
International draw for order of appearance is February 2, 2026.
- Registration cost: $200 by January 26, 2026 for choruses.
- An extended deadline with an additional $100 late fee is February 10, 2026 for choruses.
WHY: Choruses must provide information to Sweet Adelines International to register for competition.

PART 2 – COMPLETE REQUIRED FORM FOR REGIONAL COMPETITION INFORMATION
WHO: President/Team Coordinator, Director, or Finance Coordinator for chorus. Only one contact.
WHAT: Provide Competition Information to the Region: includes director name; director novice status; final pose; Song Assessment Tool approval date; competition option, including Evaluation, Open Division, or by Video Recording; chorus requested rehearsal time and location; any special needs; and a chorus contact for competition weekend.
WHERE: Register for choruses by Clicking Here. (you will need to log in to the regional website with your credentials to access the form.)
WHEN: No charge if completed by January 26, 2026. Late registration with $25 late fee is February 10, 2026.
WHY: Competitors must provide details needed for judging and the competition process. The Region needs the following info for reporting mechanical licensing for BMI and ASCAP: Song Title, Arranger, Writer, Publisher (or copyright holder), Copyright year. The Region also needs information for the webcast.

4. CHORUS HOUSING
WHO: Chorus Housing Chair
WHAT: Each Chorus Housing Chair will receive a link for a Housing Block for their chorus. The Housing Chair is responsible for securing rooms for their chorus members within the Housing Block. Whether this is done by a single person, or by each room captain/individual member, is up to the Housing Chair. The Housing Chair can share the Housing Block link with their chorus room captains/individual members so they can make their own room reservations. However, due to the limited number of rooms within each Housing Block, coordination by the Housing Chair is recommended, regardless of who makes the reservations.
WHERE: Chorus Housing Block link will be sent to the Chorus Housing Chair via email no later than January 25, 2026.
WHEN: Housing Block opens January 26, 2026 and closes February 24, 2026
WHY: To ensure all members have access to a room within the 2 competition hotels (Marriott and Embassy Suites).
Note: Contact Lura Nightlinger at [email protected] with any questions or issues. Please do not contact the hotel directly as they will not have any housing information until after the Housing Block closes.

5. ALL-EVENT TICKET FORM (AET)
WHO: President/Team Coordinator, Director, or Finance Coordinator for Chorus. Only one contact.
WHAT: Confirmations and New Reservations for All-Event Tickets
- Name Badge Confirmation – for those members who paid with their annual assessment.
- New Member Reservation – for those new members added after the annual assessment.
- Chorus Guest Reservation – for those chorus guests that would like an All-Event Ticket.
WHEN: February 21, 2026 Deadline. Late submission with $5 late fee is February 28, 2026.
Where: The Chorus AET Submission Form can be found by Clicking Here. Please submit the Chorus All-Event Ticket Spreadsheet with the form. The spreadsheet can be found by Clicking Here. You will need to log in to the regional website with your credentials to access the form and the spreadsheet.
WHY: To ensure correct name badges to be picked up at chorus briefing.
AETs ARE NOT TRANSFERABLE OR REFUNDABLE
